[594] "Where was the offense entailing expiation (pācittiya) laid down for a bhikkhunī who, being angry, abuses a group (gaṇa)?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." "Concerning whom?" — "Concerning the bhikkhunī Thullanandā." "On account of what matter?" — "On account of the matter that the bhikkhunī Thullanandā, being angry, abused a group." There is one laying down (paññatti). Of the six originations of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it originates by three originations.
