[496] On account of having a hut (kuṭi) built by means asked for by oneself (saññācikāya), one incurs three offences (āpatti): while he is having it built, in the act of undertaking there is an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when one lump has not yet arrived, there is an offence of grave transgression (thullaccaya); when that lump has arrived, there is an offence entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa).
