[511] That fifth pārājika for bhikkhunīs which was laid down by the Blessed One who knows and sees, the Arahant, the Perfectly Self-Awakened One — where was it laid down? Concerning whom? On account of what matter? Is there in it a laying down (paññatti), a supplementary laying down (anupaññatti), a laying down where no occasion had arisen (anuppannapaññatti), a laying down applying everywhere (sabbattha paññatti), a laying down applying to a region (padesapaññatti), a laying down shared by both (sādhāraṇapaññatti), a laying down not shared (asādhāraṇapaññatti), a laying down for one side (ekato paññatti), a laying down for both sides (ubhato paññatti)? Of the four recitations of the Pātimokkha, in which recitation is it included? In which is it comprised? By which recitation does it come up for recitation? Of the four failures (vipatti), which failure is it? Of the seven classes of offense (āpattikkhandha), which class of offense is it? Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), from how many origins does it arise? Of the four legal issues (adhikaraṇa), which legal issue is it? Of the seven settlements (samatha), by how many settlements is it settled? What therein is the discipline (vinaya)? What therein is the higher discipline (abhivinaya)? What therein is the Pātimokkha?
