Nissaggiyapācittīyakaṇḍa

Vinayapiṭaka · Parivāra · Vol. 8 · Section 529

[529] "Where was the offence of relinquishment with confession (nissaggiya pācittiya) for one who makes a hoard of bowls (pattasannicaya) laid down by that Blessed One who knows and sees, the Arahant, the Fully Self-Awakened One?" "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." "With reference to whom?" "With reference to the bhikkhunīs of the group of six (chabbaggiyā bhikkhuniyo)." "Concerning what matter?" "Concerning the matter that the bhikkhunīs of the group of six made a hoard of bowls." There is one laying down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through two origins (as in the Kaṭhina rule).
