[538] "Where was the offense entailing relinquishment with confession (nissaggiya pācittiya) laid down for a bhikkhunī who has something else procured in exchange (aññaṃ cetāpentiyā) with a requisite (parikkhāra) intended for another purpose, designated for another thing, belonging to an individual (puggalika), and asked for by herself (saññācika)?"
"It was laid down at Sāvatthī."
"Concerning whom?"
"Concerning the bhikkhunī Thullanandā."
"In what matter?"
"In the matter of the bhikkhunī Thullanandā having something else procured in exchange with a requisite intended for another purpose, designated for another thing, belonging to an individual, and asked for by herself."
There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through six origins.
