[545] "The pācittiya concerning a smooth lac applicator (jatumaṭṭhaka) — where was it laid down?" "It was laid down at Sāvatthī." "Concerning whom?" "Concerning a certain bhikkhunī." "In what matter?" "In the matter of a certain bhikkhunī making use of a smooth lac applicator." There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through one origin — (as in the first pārājika).
