[552] "Where was the offense entailing expiation (pācittiya) laid down for a bhikkhunī standing together with a man, one with one, in the dark of the night when there is no lamp?" — "It was laid down at Sāvatthī."
"Concerning whom?" — "Concerning a certain bhikkhunī."
"On account of what matter?" — "On the matter of a certain bhikkhunī who stood together with a man, one with one, in the dark of the night when there was no lamp."
There is one laying-down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offenses (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through two origins (as in the training rule on the thieving caravan [theyyasatthaka]).
