[597] "Where was the offence entailing expiation (pācittiya) laid down for [a bhikkhunī] who spends the rains residence (vassa) in a dwelling where there is no bhikkhu?"
"It was laid down at Sāvatthī."
"With reference to whom?"
"With reference to several bhikkhunīs."
"Concerning what matter?"
"Concerning the matter that several bhikkhunīs spent the rains residence in a dwelling where there is no bhikkhu."
There is one laying down (paññatti). Of the six origins of offences (āpattisamuṭṭhāna), it arises through two origins (as in the Eḷakaloma rule).
