[755] One who ordains (vuṭṭhāpeti) a trainee nun (sikkhamānā) by means of the giving of a lapsed consent (pārivāsika-chandadāna) commits two offenses (āpatti): while she is ordaining her, in the act of undertaking (payoga), an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); when she has been ordained, an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
