[112] Or whereas some honorable ascetics and brahmins, while enjoying food given in faith, remain engaged in running errands and carrying messages of this sort — namely, for kings, kings' great ministers, khattiyas, brahmins, householders, or princes, saying: 'Go here, go there; take this there, bring that from there' — he refrains from engaging in such errand-running and message-carrying. This too pertains to his ethics (sīla).
