[59] Bhikkhus, therein, as for those ascetics and brahmins who hold the doctrine of a self surviving after death that is neither percipient nor non-percipient, and who declare, on eight grounds, that the self after death is neither percipient nor non-percipient — that too is merely the felt experience of those worthy ascetics and brahmins, who do not know and do not see; it is merely the agitation and vacillation of those in the grip of craving (taṇhā).
