[208] Now at that time a father and son had gone forth among the bhikkhus. When the mealtime was announced, the son said to the father: "Go, venerable sir, the Saṅgha is waiting for you," and, taking hold of him by the back, he pushed him. He fell down and died. He was remorseful. … "What was your intention, bhikkhu?" "Blessed One, I did not intend his death." "Bhikkhu, there is no offense (āpatti) for one who does not intend death."
