[209] Now at that time, while a certain bhikkhu was eating, a piece of meat stuck in his throat. Another bhikkhu gave that bhikkhu a blow on the neck. The meat fell out together with blood, and that bhikkhu died. The one who struck was remorseful (kukkucca) … "Bhikkhu, for one not intending death there is no offence (anāpatti)."
