[264] By three modes … [in respect of] the first jhāna (paṭhamajjhāna) and the fruit of stream-entry (sotāpattiphala) … the first jhāna and the fruit of once-returning (sakadāgāmiphala) … the first jhāna and the fruit of non-returning (anāgāmiphala) … the first jhāna and the fruit of arahantship (arahattaphala): for one who, knowingly speaking falsely, says, "I attained, I attain, I have attained [them]; I am an obtainer of, I have mastery over, the first jhāna and the fruit of arahantship; the first jhāna and the fruit of arahantship have been realized by me" — there is an offense of pārājika …
