[350] Now at that time, semen was emitted from a certain bhikkhu while he was bathing with hot water. He was remorseful … "What was your intention, bhikkhu?"
"Blessed One, I had no intention of causing emission."
"Bhikkhu, there is no offense for one who has no intention of causing emission."
Now at that time, semen was emitted from a certain bhikkhu who intended to cause emission, while he was bathing with hot water. He was remorseful … "Bhikkhu, you have committed an offense entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa)."
Now at that time, semen was not emitted from a certain bhikkhu who intended to cause emission, while he was bathing with hot water. He was remorseful … "Bhikkhu, there is no offense entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha; there is an offense of grave transgression (thullaccaya)."
