[365] Now at that time a certain bhikkhu, intending emission, inserted his member into a hole in a palmyra tree, and semen was emitted. … [The elision (pe) compresses the standard formula: he became remorseful, thinking, "Have I not committed an offense of saṅghādisesa?" and reported the matter to the Blessed One.
