[450] A man sends a bhikkhu, saying, "Go, venerable sir, tell the woman named so-and-so who is protected by a penalty (saparidaṇḍā) and the one protected by her mother (māturakkhitā): 'Be, it is said, the temporary wives (muhuttikā) of the man named so-and-so.'" He accepts, he inquires, he brings back the reply: an offense of saṅghādisesa.
