SaṅghādisesakaṇḍaSaṅghādisessikkhābada

Vinayapiṭaka · Bhikkhu Vibhaṅga (1) · Vol. 1 · Section 613

[613] For the motion (ñatti), there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); for the two proclamations of the act (kammavācā), there are offenses of grave transgression (thullaccaya); at the conclusion of the proclamation of the act, there is an offense entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa). For one who is committing the saṅghādisesa, the offense of wrong-doing for the motion and the offenses of grave transgression for the two proclamations of the act subside. "Saṅghādisesa": … For that reason too it is called "saṅghādisesa."
