[373] At Sāvatthī. The Blessed One said this to the Venerable Rādha, who was seated to one side: "Rādha, there are these five aggregates subject to clinging (upādānakkhandhā). Which five? Namely: the aggregate subject to clinging that is form (rūpa) … the aggregate subject to clinging that is consciousness (viññāṇa). When, Rādha, a noble disciple understands as it really is (yathābhūta) the origin (samudaya) and the passing away, the gratification, the danger, and the escape in regard to these five aggregates subject to clinging — this noble disciple, Rādha, is called a stream-enterer (sotāpanna), no longer subject to the states of deprivation, fixed in destiny, with full awakening as his destination."
