There … "Bhikkhus, for a bhikkhu practising in accordance with the Dhamma (dhammānudhammapaṭipanna), this is what accords with the Dhamma (anudhamma): that he should dwell contemplating suffering (dukkha) in form … in feeling (vedanā) … in perception … in volitional formations … he should dwell contemplating suffering in consciousness. Dwelling contemplating suffering in form … in feeling … in perception … in volitional formations … dwelling contemplating suffering in consciousness, he fully understands form … feeling … perception … volitional formations … he fully understands consciousness. Fully understanding form … feeling … perception … volitional formations … fully understanding consciousness, he is freed from form, freed from feeling, freed from perception, freed from volitional formations, freed from consciousness; he is freed from birth, aging, death, from sorrow, lamentation, pain, grief, and despair; he is freed from suffering, I say."
