[1005] "Venerable sir, seeing what benefit did the Venerable Piṇḍolabhāradvāja declare final knowledge (aññā) thus: 'I understand: destroyed is birth (jāti), the holy life has been lived, done is what had to be done, there is no more coming to this state of existence'?"
