[1597] "Godhā, a female noble disciple who possesses four things is a stream-enterer (sotāpanna), no longer subject to downfall, fixed in destiny, with awakening (sambodhi) as her final goal. What four? Here, Godhā, a female noble disciple possesses confirmed confidence (aveccappasāda) in the Buddha: 'Thus indeed is that Blessed One … teacher of devas and humans, the Buddha, the Blessed One.' … in the Dhamma … in the Saṅgha … She dwells at home with a mind (citta) free from the stain of miserliness, freely generous, open-handed, delighting in relinquishment, devoted to charity, delighting in giving and sharing. Possessing these four things, Godhā, a female noble disciple is a stream-enterer, no longer subject to downfall, fixed in destiny, with awakening as her final goal."
