Āhārasutta

Suttapiṭaka · Saṁyuttanikāya · Mahāvaggasaṁyutta · Vol. 19 · Section 546

[546] And what, bhikkhus, is the denourishment (anāhāra) that prevents the arising of the unarisen factor of awakening (bojjhaṅga) of equanimity, and prevents the development and fulfillment of the arisen factor of awakening of equanimity? There are, bhikkhus, dhammas that serve as the basis for the factor of awakening of equanimity: not frequently giving attention to them—this is the denourishment that prevents the arising of the unarisen factor of awakening of equanimity, and prevents the development and fulfillment of the arisen factor of awakening of equanimity.
