Āhārasutta

Suttapiṭaka · Saṁyuttanikāya · Mahāvaggasaṁyutta · Vol. 19 · Section 534

[534] And what, bhikkhus, is the nutriment (āhāra) for the arising of the unarisen equanimity factor of awakening (upekkhā-sambojjhaṅga), or for the development and fulfillment of the arisen equanimity factor of awakening? There are, bhikkhus, dhammas that serve as the basis for the equanimity factor of awakening: frequently giving careful attention (yoniso manasikāra) to them — this is the nutriment for the arising of the unarisen equanimity factor of awakening, or for the development and fulfillment of the arisen equanimity factor of awakening.
