[44] When she is not a relation, and he perceives her as not a relation, he has an old robe washed: an offence of pācittiya entailing relinquishment (nissaggiya pācittiya). When she is not a relation, and he perceives her as not a relation, he has an old robe washed and has it dyed: together with the [item] to be relinquished, an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa).¹⁻⁴

When she is a relation, and he perceives her as a relation: no offence.
