[704] "Whatever" (yo pana) means: whoever, of whatever sort … . "Bhikkhu" means: … this is the one intended in this sense as "bhikkhu." "A bhikkhu": another bhikkhu. "Baseless" (amūlakaṃ) means: not seen, not heard, not suspected. "With a saṅghādisesa": with any one of the thirteen. "Should defame" (anuddhaṃseyya): he accuses, or causes (another) to accuse — an offense of pācittiya.
