[708] **"Whoever" (yo pana):** whoever, of whatever sort … **"Bhikkhu":** … this is the bhikkhu intended in this sense.
**"In a bhikkhu" (bhikkhussa):** in another bhikkhu.
**"Deliberately" (sañcicca):** knowing, consciously perceiving, having intended, having resolved upon it — a transgression.
**"Should arouse worry" (kukkuccaṃ upadaheyya):** he arouses worry (kukkucca) [saying]: "I suppose you were fully ordained (upasampanna) when less than twenty years of age; I suppose you have eaten at the wrong time; I suppose you have drunk intoxicants; I suppose you have sat in private together with a woman (mātugāma)" — he incurs an offense of pācittiya.
**"Making just this the reason and nothing else" (etadeva paccayaṃ karitvā anaññaṃ):** there is no other reason whatsoever for arousing the worry.
