[266] "Whatever" (yā pana): whoever, of whatever sort … "Bhikkhunī": … this is the bhikkhunī intended in this sense.
"To a bhikkhunī": to another bhikkhunī.
"Deliberately" (sañcicca): knowing, being conscious, having intended, the transgression is committed having knowingly gone beyond.
"Should cause discomfort": thinking, "By this means there will be discomfort for this one," without asking leave she walks up and down in front of her, or stands, or sits, or lies down, or recites, or has another recite, or does recitation aloud — an offense of pācittiya.
