**"Of a bhikkhunī" (bhikkhuniyā):** of another bhikkhunī.
**"Robe" (cīvaraṃ)** means: any one of the six kinds of robes.
**"Having unstitched" (visibbetvā):** having unstitched it herself.
**"Having caused it to be unstitched" (visibbāpetvā):** having had another unstitch it.
**"If she, afterwards, there being no obstruction" (sā pacchā anantarāyikinī):** when there is no obstruction.
**"Should neither sew it" (neva sibbeyya):** should not sew it herself.
**"Nor make an effort to have it sewn" (na sibbāpanāya ussukkaṃ kareyya):** should not command another.
**"Except within four or five days" (aññatra catūhapañcāhā):** setting aside four or five days.
At the mere laying down of the responsibility, (thinking,) "I will neither sew it nor make an effort to have it sewn," she incurs an offense of pācittiya.
