[75] Bhikkhus, I do not see even one other thing on account of which unarisen factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga) do not arise, and arisen factors of awakening do not go to fulfillment through development, so much as this, bhikkhus: careless attention (ayoniso manasikāra). Bhikkhus, for one who attends carelessly, unarisen factors of awakening do not arise, and arisen factors of awakening do not go to fulfillment through development.
