[221] **"Whatever" (yā pana):** means whoever, of whatever sort … . **"Bhikkhunī":** … this is the bhikkhunī intended in this context. **"Should bathe naked" (naggā nahāyeyya):** she bathes not wearing a lower garment, or not wearing an upper garment: in the act of undertaking (payoga) there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); at the completion of the bath, there is an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
