[210] Having seen the trodden footprint of Vipassī, the great seer (mahesi),
adorned with the ornament of the wheel, I went along following it, footstep after footstep.
Having seen a koraṇḍa in bloom, I offered it together with its root;
joyful, with a joyful mind (citta), I paid homage to the supreme footprint.
In the ninety-first aeon from now, since I offered that flower,
I have known no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of the offering to the Buddha (buddhapūjā).¹
In the fifty-seventh aeon there was one named Vītamala,
a universal monarch (cakkavatti) of great might, endowed with the seven treasures.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Elder Koraṇḍapupphiya spoke these verses.
The Apadāna of the Elder Koraṇḍapupphiya is concluded.
