[250] Then, having placed seven sattali¹ flowers upon my head,
I offered them to the Buddha, to Vessabhū, the supreme among men.
In the thirty-first aeon from now, since I offered that flower,
I know of no bad destination: this is the fruit of the offering of flowers.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized: the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
It was thus, indeed, that the Venerable Elder Sattasattalipupphapūjaka spoke these verses.
The Apadāna of the Elder Sattasattalipupphapūjaka is concluded.
