[322] The bull (usabha), the most excellent, the hero, the great seer (mahesi), the victorious one —
Vipassī, the great hero, like a thoroughbred maned lion —
as he was walking along the street, the recipient of oblations (āhuti),
I took a garland of kumuda flowers (white water-lilies) and strewed it over the supreme Buddha.
In the ninety-first eon (kappa) from now, since I made offering with that flower,
I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of worshipping the Buddha (buddhapūjā).
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Elder (thera) Kumudamāliya spoke these verses.
The Apadāna of the Elder Kumudamāliya is concluded.

Ārakkhada, Bhojanada, Gatasaññī, Padumika,
Pupphāsani, Santhavika, Saddasaññī, Tiraṃsiya,
Nālika, and Kumudī — fifty-seven verses.
