[370] And the Self-Awakened One (sambuddha), at peace,
was dwelling between the mountains;
taking a single campaka flower,
I approached the supreme among men.
With a mind (citta) full of confidence, joyful,
raising it up with both hands,
I venerated the supreme solitary sage (paccekamuni),
the unvanquished one.
In the thirty-first aeon (kappa) from now,
since I made offering with that flower,
I know of no bad destination (duggati):
this is the fruit of the worship of a Buddha (buddhapūjā).
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā),
and these eight liberations (vimokkha) as well,
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized;
the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
It was thus that the Venerable Elder Ekacampakapupphiya spoke these verses.
The Apadāna of the Elder Ekacampakapupphiya is concluded.
