[257] To the Buddha, shining like a kaṇikāra tree,
seated between the mountains,
I offered up seven pāṭali flowers.
In the ninety-fourth aeon from the present,
since I offered that flower,
I know of no bad destination (duggati) —
this is the fruit of worship of the Buddha (buddhapūjā).

The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā),
and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized;

Thus indeed the Venerable Sattapāṭaliya the Elder spoke these verses.
