[219] Which, on that occasion, is right action (sammākammanta)?
That which, on that occasion, is the abstaining (ārati), the refraining (virati), the desisting (paṭivirati), the abstinence (veramaṇī) from the three kinds of bodily misconduct (kāya-duccarita); the not doing (akiriyā), the not committing (akaraṇa), the non-transgression (anajjhāpatti), the not overstepping of the boundary (velā-anatikkama), the demolition of the bridge (setughāta); right action, a factor of the path (maggaṅga), included in the path (maggapariyāpanna) — this, on that occasion, is right action.
