[179] Therein, what is right action (sammākammanta)? That which is the abstaining, refraining, desisting, abstention from the three kinds of bodily misconduct (kāya-duccarita); the non-doing, the non-performance, the non-committing, the non-transgression of the boundary, the destruction of the bridge (setughāta); right action, a factor of the path (magga), included in the path — this is called right action.
