[279] Which volition (cetanā) is there on that occasion? That which on that occasion is volition, intention (sañcetanā), the state of intending (sañcetayitatta), born of contact with the appropriate mind-consciousness element (tajjā-manoviññāṇadhātu-samphassajā) — this is the volition there is on that occasion.
