[44] Which, on that occasion, is the power of wisdom (paññā-bala)?
That which, on that occasion, is wisdom (paññā), understanding (pajānanā), investigation (vicaya), thorough investigation (pavicaya), investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya), discernment (sallakkhaṇā), close discernment (upalakkhaṇā), precise discernment (paccupalakkhaṇā), erudition (paṇḍicca), proficiency (kosalla), subtlety (nepuñña), lucidity (vebhabyā), thinking (cintā), examination (upaparikkhā), breadth (bhūrī), sagacity (medhā), guidance (pariṇāyikā), insight (vipassanā), clear comprehension (sampajañña), the goad (patoda), wisdom, the faculty of wisdom (paññindriya), the power of wisdom, wisdom as a sword (paññā-sattha), wisdom as a palace (paññā-pāsāda), wisdom as light (paññā-āloka), wisdom as illumination (paññā-obhāsa), wisdom as a lamp (paññā-pajjota), wisdom as a jewel (paññā-ratana), non-delusion (amoha), investigation of dhammas, right view (sammādiṭṭhi) — this, on that occasion, is the power of wisdom.
