[762] Which phenomena are misapprehended (parāmaṭṭhā)? Wholesome (kusala), unwholesome (akusala), and indeterminate (abyākata) phenomena (dhammā) subject to taints (sāsava), pertaining to the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), pertaining to the form sphere (rūpāvacara), or pertaining to the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): the form aggregate (rūpakkhandha) … the consciousness aggregate (viññāṇakkhandha) — these phenomena are misapprehended.
Which phenomena are not misapprehended (aparāmaṭṭhā)? The paths (magga) that are not included [in the spheres] (apariyāpanna), the fruits of the paths, and the unconditioned element (asaṅkhatā dhātu) — these phenomena are not misapprehended.
