[826] Which phenomena (dhammā) are accompanied by pleasure (sukhasahagata)?
In the plane (bhūmi) of pleasure (sukha) — in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), in the form sphere (rūpāvacara), in the unincluded (apariyāpanna) — setting aside pleasure, the aggregate of perception (saññākkhandha), the aggregate of volitional formations (saṅkhārakkhandha), and the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha) associated therewith (taṃsampayutta): these phenomena are accompanied by pleasure.
Which phenomena are not accompanied by pleasure?
In what is not the plane of pleasure — in the sense sphere, in the form sphere, in the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), in the unincluded — the aggregate of feeling (vedanākkhandha) … the aggregate of consciousness; also pleasure, and all form (rūpa), and the unconditioned element (asaṅkhatā dhātu): these phenomena are not accompanied by pleasure.
