[669] Which phenomena (dhammā) are accompanied by rapture (pīti)? On the plane (bhūmi) of rapture — in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), in the form sphere (rūpāvacara), and in the unincluded (apariyāpanna) — setting aside rapture, the aggregate (khandha) of feeling (vedanā) associated with it (taṃsampayutta) … the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇa): these phenomena are accompanied by rapture.
Which phenomena are accompanied by pleasure (sukha)? On the plane of pleasure — in the sense sphere, in the form sphere, and in the unincluded — setting aside pleasure, the aggregate of perception (saññā) associated with it, the aggregate of volitional formations (saṅkhārā), and the aggregate of consciousness: these phenomena are accompanied by pleasure.
Which phenomena are accompanied by equanimity (upekkhā)?
