[850] Therein, what is shamelessness (ahirika)?
That which is the absence of shame at what one ought to be ashamed of, the absence of shame at engaging in evil, unwholesome phenomena (dhammā) — this is called shamelessness.
Therein, what is lack of moral dread (anottappa)?
That which is the absence of dread at what one ought to dread, the absence of dread at engaging in evil, unwholesome phenomena — this is called lack of moral dread.
