[926] Which phenomena (dhammā) are favorable to the ties (ganthaniya)? The wholesome in the three planes (bhūmi), the unwholesome, the resultant (vipāka) in the three planes, the functional-indeterminate (kiriyābyākata) in the three planes, and all form (rūpa) — these phenomena are favorable to the ties. Which phenomena are not favorable to the ties (aganthaniya)? The four paths (magga) that are unincluded (apariyāpanna), the four fruits of the ascetic life (sāmaññaphala), and Nibbāna — these phenomena are not favorable to the ties.
