The wholesome, unwholesome, and indeterminate phenomena accompanied by taints (sāsava), belonging to the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), the form sphere (rūpāvacara), and the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): the aggregate of form (rūpakkhandha) … the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha) — these phenomena are objects of the ties.
Which phenomena are not objects of the ties (aganthaniya)?
The unincluded (apariyāpanna) paths (magga), the fruits of the paths, and the unconditioned element (asaṅkhatā dhātu) — these phenomena are not objects of the ties.
