[430] "Thus is the origin (samudaya) of this whole mass of suffering (dukkhakkhandha)": thus of this whole mass of suffering there is the concurrence (saṅgati), there is the coming together (samāgama), there is the combination (samodhāna), there is the manifestation (pātubhāva). Therefore it is said: "Thus is the origin of this whole mass of suffering."
