"Basis of success (iddhipāda)": the feeling aggregate (vedanākkhandha), the perception aggregate (saññākkhandha), the volitional formations aggregate (saṅkhārakkhandha), the consciousness aggregate (viññāṇakkhandha) of one who has become thus. "Develops the basis of success": he cultivates, develops, and makes much of those phenomena; therefore it is said, "he develops the basis of success."
