[530] "Success" (iddhi): that which is the success (iddhi), full success (samiddhi), succeeding (ijjhanā), fully succeeding (samijjhanā), gain (lābha), acquisition (paṭilābha), attainment (patti), full attainment (sampatti), contacting (phusanā), realization (sacchikiriyā), and entering upon (upasampadā) of those phenomena (dhammā). "Basis of success" (iddhipāda): of one who has become thus, there is contact (phassa) … exertion (paggāha), non-distraction (avikkhepa). "He develops the basis of success": he cultivates, develops, and makes much of those phenomena; therefore it is said, "he develops the basis of success."
