[519] [Sakavādin:] Is there unknowing (aññāṇa) in an Arahant?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[Sakavādin:] Was it not said by the Blessed One:
"Together with his attainment of vision (dassanasampadā),
three phenomena (dhammā) are abandoned:
personality-view (sakkāyadiṭṭhi) and doubt (vicikicchā),
and whatever rules and vows (sīlabbata) there may be;
and he is freed from the four states of loss (apāya),
and is incapable of committing the six major wrongdoings (abhiṭhāna)"—
is there indeed such a discourse (suttanta)?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[Sakavādin:] Then indeed it should not be said: "There is unknowing in an Arahant."
